1. Acceptance of Terms
AlphaGen (the "Platform" or "Service") is owned and operated by AlphaGenPro (Private) Limited ("AlphaGen," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the Platform.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, subscribers, and members of AlphaGen.
2. Nature of Service
AlphaGen is an independent research and analytical platform that provides:
- Quantitative stock analysis
- Market research insights
- Trading signals and analytical outputs
- Educational market content
- Dashboards, screening tools, and data visualization
The Platform is designed to assist users in evaluating market opportunities through data-driven analysis and system-generated insights.
AlphaGen is not a brokerage firm, investment advisor, portfolio manager, or financial institution. All information and services are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
3. No Personalized Financial Advice
Nothing on AlphaGen constitutes:
- Personalized investment advice
- Financial advisory services
- Tax advice
- Legal advice
- Portfolio management services
- Guaranteed investment outcomes
Users remain solely responsible for their investment decisions, trade execution, risk management, and capital allocation.
Financial markets involve risk, including possible loss of capital. Past performance, historical returns, backtesting, or previous model outcomes do not guarantee future results.
4. User Accounts
Certain features of AlphaGen may require account registration. Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity under their account
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized account access
AlphaGen reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where misuse, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms is detected.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features and services may require a paid subscription.
5.1 Billing
Paid plans are priced in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and provide access by the calendar month, for one month or a term of 3, 6 or 12 months, ending on the same date the term began. Payment is currently made by scanning the AlphaGen QR code shown at checkout in the dashboard with a Raast-enabled banking app, then confirming the payment details in the dashboard. Access activates immediately. Payments are matched against our merchant account afterwards, and access may be withdrawn if a payment cannot be located. Card payments through a payment gateway will be added in future.
5.2 Renewals
Plans paid with the QR code do not renew automatically. Access expires at the end of the term without a grace period, and a further payment is required for another period of paid access.
Once card payments are available, plans paid by card will renew automatically at the end of each term and the card used at checkout will be charged the plan price at each renewal until the subscription is cancelled. Cancel before the next renewal date to stop the next charge. Cancellation retains access until the end of the period already paid for.
5.3 Plan Changes
On downgrade or expiry, saved customer data is retained. Features and saved collections outside the current plan are locked until access is restored.
5.4 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to update pricing, subscription structures, or feature availability at any time. Reasonable notice will be provided where applicable.
5.5 Refunds & Delivery
Refunds, returns and cancellations are governed by the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy. Delivery of paid access is described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
If AlphaGen stops providing the paid service for any reason, including a notice or order from a government or regulatory authority, customers who have paid for access they can no longer use will be refunded as set out in the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including but not limited to:
- Analytical models
- Scoring systems
- Signals
- Algorithms
- Research frameworks
- Branding
- Website design
- Dashboards
- Software components
- Text, graphics, and visual assets
are the intellectual property of AlphaGen unless otherwise stated.
Users may not:
- Copy or redistribute paid content
- Resell platform outputs
- Reverse engineer systems or models
- Share account access with others
- Reproduce or republish proprietary materials without permission
Unauthorized distribution or misuse of platform content may result in account termination and legal action where applicable.
7. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Interfere with platform functionality or security
- Share subscription access with non-subscribers
- Misrepresent AlphaGen research or outputs as their own
- Abuse, exploit, or misuse platform services
8. Platform Availability
While AlphaGen aims to maintain reliable and uninterrupted service, we do not guarantee continuous availability of the Platform. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party service disruptions, data provider outages, or system upgrades.
Features, models, methodologies, or platform functionality may evolve over time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaGen and its owners, affiliates, contributors, or partners shall not be liable for investment or trading losses, missed opportunities, data inaccuracies or delays, technical interruptions, service downtime, or indirect or consequential damages.
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. Use of AlphaGen is entirely at the user's own discretion and risk.
10. Market Risk Acknowledgment
By using AlphaGen, users acknowledge that:
- Financial markets are volatile and unpredictable
- Signals and models may not always perform as expected
- Market conditions can rapidly change
- No analytical framework can guarantee profits or eliminate risk
Users accept full responsibility for their financial decisions and trading activities.
11. Service Modifications
AlphaGen reserves the right to:
- Modify or discontinue platform features
- Update analytical models or methodologies
- Add or remove services
- Change subscription structures
- Restrict or limit access to certain functionality
Reasonable notice may be provided where practical.
If the paid service as a whole is discontinued or suspended, affected subscribers will be refunded under section 5.5.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected
- Platform misuse occurs
- Subscription obligations are not fulfilled
Users may discontinue use of the Platform or cancel subscriptions at any time subject to applicable billing terms.
13. Third-Party Services & Links
The Platform may contain links, integrations, or references to third-party services or websites. AlphaGen is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or reliability of third-party services.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
15. Changes to Terms
AlphaGen may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
