7. AI Assistant Connections
You can connect AlphaGen to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. A connection is made only when you sign in with your AlphaGen account and approve it on AlphaGen's own consent page, which lists what the assistant may do:
- Read AlphaGen's market data and research (always included)
- Read your AlphaGen portfolios and watchlists (you can turn this off)
- Record buys and sells you ask for (off unless you turn it on)
- Record cash and dividends, correct entries and update watchlists you ask for (off unless you turn it on)
AlphaGen sends the assistant only the information it requests within the permissions you approved. We keep a record of each connection (the app, the permissions and when it was last used) and count requests against your plan's allowance. AlphaGen receives only the requests the assistant makes to it, not your conversation with the assistant.
Information the assistant reads from AlphaGen becomes part of your conversation with that assistant and is handled under its provider's own privacy policy. AlphaGen never places orders with a broker or moves money through these connections. You can disconnect an assistant at any time from AlphaGen's Integrations page or Settings, which ends its access straight away. Setup steps are on the AI assistants page.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including SSL/HTTPS encrypted connections, secure server infrastructure, authentication and access controls, password encryption, and security monitoring measures.
